Meet Wayne

With a passion for people and a knack for numbers, I have over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. From a Senior Consultant at Old Mutual, to a Retail Broker at Absa – something was missing. The importance of building a customised, unique portfolio as opposed to a “one size fits all” plan was paramount. This led to the birth of Ingle Financial Services in 2001, an independent brokerage which allows me the flexibility and freedom to focus on what matters most – you, the client.

Certified to provide financial advisory and intermediary services across the spectrum (which you can see under my Key Services), I have gradually gravitated towards specialising in Retirement Planning. Through assisting, guiding and supporting those in purchasing Compulsory Annuities, I have helped many clients sit back and relax, providing them with peace of mind.

Finances are important and being a husband and a father has allowed me perspective.  When life happens, you need to be prepared.

12 years in the South African Police Dog Squad has instilled in me a passion to serve. With Personal Training and Scuba Instructor qualifications under my belt, I have a flair for helping people reach their true potential. A provincial masters hockey player and an avid ocean lover, you can find me outdoors on the weekends, usually surfing or cycling the promenade, enjoying the stellar views of Durban.

With trust, integrity and communication as my core values, I am just a phone-call away and looking forward to partnering with you as we strategise and plan your financial security.

FREQUENTLY ASKED Questions?

Below are a few questions that are most commonly asked.  Please get in touch should you have any further queries.

Do I need a financial advisor?

Yes. A financial advisor will be able to provide you with expert advice through a deeper knowledge of the complex investment products. I will be able to assist you with articulating your goals, provide you with a professional opinion and prepare a customised investment plan.

What do you charge?

Currently, all consultations are free of charge. However, should you put a product in place, I will be paid a regulated commission by the respective Product Provider.

How and where would we meet?

I am happy to meet wherever it is convenient for you, be that at my office or at your place of business or home. Although I am based in Durban North, I am happy to travel to surrounding areas, during or after office hours.

Can I bring a friend to our meeting?

Of course. I want you to be as comfortable as possible and if having a second pair of ears from someone you trust helps you, I fully support that.

Financial jargon intimidates me. Will I understand?

It is of paramount importance that you fully understand the available investment options before you select one. I have learnt over the years that this is best achieved by using simple, language and plain terms.

What qualifications do you have?

In addition to 25 years of industry experience, I hold all the qualifications currently prescribed by legislation, including regulated Continued Professional Development. My practice is further audited regularly by an external Compliance Officer to ensure that I follow due diligence and always act within the ambit of the law.

Are you independent?

Yes, I am independent, which allows me to offer you a scope of products from a selection of contracted companies, who do not incentivise me or prescribe sales targets.

What is your speciality?

I always have and currently provide advisory and intermediary services in the scope mentioned under Key Services, however over the years I have gravitated more towards dealing with clients going on retirement and purchasing Compulsory Annuities, as prescribed by law.

Do you have an investment philosophy?

I am a firm believer that financial decisions should be based on intellect rather than emotion. It is also important that clients objectives be realistic, and that they have a solid understanding of the products they have purchased and the value that they offer.

What if something happens to you?

Besides providing financial advice, I also assist you with putting products in place with various Product Providers. So should something happen to me, you will still remain a client of the respective Product Provider.

a few kind words from clients

Nothing influences people more than a recommendation from a trusted friend.
